What You'll Find on Mountain West Music

This website features a compilation of past and present work produced by current Mountain West Music staff. We hope this site will attract both casual and serious fans of individual artists, as well as anyone who has an interest in the Colorado music scene. Articles on local concerts will not only provide information about artists and their performances but also offer insight into various Front Range music locales and events.

Artists and Genres Covered

Previously published material, now found on Mountain West Music, is primarily from the country music genre. Our future coverage, however, will be considerably broader. We will maintain a focus on country but will also include writing on bluegrass, alt-country, alt-rock, classic rock , adult album alternative rock and blues.

Archival vs Current Sections

Some of the material found on the site, such as the CD Reviews section, is primarily archival in nature, i.e. we won't be updating the section with new material unless our interests, user interests or industry interests move us in that direction. Other areas, such as the photo gallery, remain works in progress. The amount of photographic material to yet be archived is formidable.
